Doha, Dec. 7 (SANA) Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Hind Kabawat held meetings in Doha to advocate for international support for Syria’s transition to stability, peace, and sustainable recovery.
During a session titled “Charting the Path of the Transitional Phase” on the sidelines of the Qatar Forum 2025, Kabawat discussed the role of the international community in supporting Syria throughout the recovery process.
The session addressed aspects of the transitional period, the progress achieved in social and service-related initiatives, and ways to enhance international support, contributing to sustainable recovery that strengthens the stability of Syrian society.
Separately, Kabawat met with UNICEF Deputy Executive Director Ted Chaiban to discuss strengthening cooperation in social protection and equitable service delivery. The meeting also focused on supporting community cohesion in Syria and emphasized the importance of empowering women economically and educationally to ensure sustainable social stability.
