Washington, SANA- U.S. Special Envoy for Syria Thomas Barrack stressed that the Syrian government has shown “incredible enthusiasm” for integrating the Syrian Democratic Forces into its institutions, within the framework of the principle of “one state, one nation, one army, one government.”
In an interview with Rudaw Media Network on Wednesday, Barrack criticized the Syrian Democratic Forces, which he deemed “slow to respond, negotiate, and move forward” on this path, advising them by saying, “There is only one way, and that way leads to Damascus.”
Regarding U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s statements regarding autonomy and sovereignty, the U.S. Envoy noted that “the Kurds are an amazing, wonderful, and beautiful people within their own countries.”
