Bahrain expresses solidarity with Syria over Latakia wildfires

Manama, SANA -The Kingdom of Bahrain has expressed its solidarity with the Syrian Arab Republic in response to the devastating wildfires that have swept through Latakia Governorate, causing significant damage.

In a statement carried by the Bahrain News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said: “We express our sympathy and solidarity with our brotherly nation, Syria, following the wildfires that have engulfed Latakia in the country’s northwest, displacing hundreds of families and causing extensive losses to agricultural land and infrastructure.”

The ministry emphasized the importance of international cooperation in supporting the Syrian government and ensuring an effective humanitarian response to mitigate the human and material impact of this environmental and natural disaster.
