Damascus, SANA- Minister of Transport Yarub Badr held a video meeting Monday with Syrian experts in the transport sector in Germany to explore possible avenues for cooperation and benefit from their advanced expertise in this sector.
During the meeting, Minister Badr stressed the ministry’s keenness to benefit from the pioneering German experience, particularly in the field of smart systems and sustainable transport and modernize transport sector’s infrastructure in Syria.
Minister Badr pointed out the possibility of providing German technical support for inspecting bridges and railway networks in Syria and transferring expertise to personnel in transport sector.
In turn, the Syrian experts residing in Germany reviewed areas of possible support for Syria, including the provision of advanced engineering equipment, modern technical software, and expressed full readiness to afford all necessary support to serve joint work.
