Mecca, SANA – Mohammad Nour Araj, Director of Syrian Hajj, has announced that all 22,500 Syrian pilgrims have successfully arrived in Mecca. He also reported one death among the pilgrims before their departure.
Araj told SANA that the Syrian Hajj mission’s staff and committees have distributed the pilgrims to their accommodations in various areas of Mecca according to organized plans, adding that efforts are ongoing around the clock to provide the highest levels of comfort and care for Syrian pilgrims as they perform the Hajj rituals.
The Syrian Hajj Director praised the close cooperation and exceptional facilities provided by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia to the Syrian pilgrims.
He added that the Syrian mission looks forward to enhancing coordination and cooperation with Saudi authorities in future seasons to serve the pilgrims’ interests and elevate the quality of services offered to them.
