The Syrian Army opens corridor from Sheikh Maqsoud, publishes maps of targets

Aleppo, Jan. 9 (SANA) The Operations Command of the Syrian Arab Army announced Friday the opening of al-Awarid humanitarian corridor from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., urging residents of Aleppo‘s Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood to leave promptly for other parts of the city.

The command called on members of the SDF organization to lay down their arms, stressing that the army would guarantee their safety.

The Syrian Arab Army also began publishing maps of locations in Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood that have been converted by the SDF organization and elements of the terrorist PKK into headquarters, military positions, and launch points for operations against neighborhoods and residents in Aleppo.

The command urged the residents of Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood to stay away from all locations used by the SDF organization and elements of the terrorist PKK organization particularly those that will be announced.
