Presidency of the Republic: Decree No. (18) on the General Authority for Planning and International Cooperation

Presidency of the Syrian Arab Republic

Decree No. (18) of 2025 Concerning the General Authority for Planning and International Cooperation.

Based on the provisions of the Constitution, in accordance with the provisions of applicable laws and regulations, and based on the requirements of the public interest.
The following is hereby decreed:

First:The name of the “General Authority for Planning and International Cooperation” shall be changed to the “Planning and Planning Authority,” and its tasks and competencies shall be defined in accordance with this change. Its structural organization shall be reorganized in accordance with what will be determined by the executive instructions of this decree.

Second:The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates is responsible for managing international cooperation, in addition to the relevant authority at the Supreme Center for International Cooperation in the Syrian Arab Republic.

Third:International Cooperation Offices in ministries and governorates administratively and technically affiliated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates are responsible for direct coordination with the Ministry on all matters related to international affairs and bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
