New York, SANA- UN Secretary-General spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric has welcomed U.S. President Donald Trump’s statements regarding the lifting of sanctions on Syria.
According to Agence France-Presse (AFP), Dujarric stated, “Lifting these sanctions will have a positive impact in terms of revitalizing the country’s economy and improving the livelihood of the Syrian people, after a war that has lasted for more than a decade.”
