Damascus, SANA- Religious Endowments Minister (Awqaf) Mohammad Abu al-Khair Shukri, Damascus Governor, Maher Marwan, discussed Monday means to develop joint work between the ministry and the governorate.
During the meeting, held at the ministry building in Damascus, both sides underlined the necessity to support sub-directorates of endowments, in order to enhance advocacy and service activities in the capital, Damascus.
In a related context, Minister Shukri met a delegation of sheikhs and preachers from Lattakia Governorate with the presence of Endowments Director in Lattakia, Sheikh Khaled Amro.
The meeting also underscored the importance of bolstering religious and national values.
