Syria and Turkey discuss strengthening Joint Cooperation in the field of Energy

Istanbul, SANA- During his meeting on Thursday with the Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Alparslan Bayraktar, Minister of Energy, Muhammad al-Bashir discussed joint cooperation relations in various energy fields.Syria and Turkey discuss strengthening Joint Cooperation in the field of Energy

The meeting was held in Istanbul, and the two sides discussed ways to develop the partnership in the fields of traditional and renewable energy, in addition to exchanging technical and technological expertise, and exploring joint investment opportunities in energy infrastructure projects.

The two sides stressed the importance of continuing coordination and cooperation to serve common interests, contribute to enhancing regional energy security, and open new horizons for cooperation in the fields of research, development and technology transfer.

This meeting comes ahead of the launch of the Istanbul Natural Resources Summit, which is a high-level international platform that brings together decision-makers and experts in the field of energy.
