Syria, Turkey explore joint cooperation in electricity and energy sectors

Syria, Turkey explore joint cooperation in electricity and energy sectors

Damascus, SANA-Minister of Energy, Engineer Mohammed al-Bashir, met Monday with the Turkish Ambassador in Damascus, Dr. Burhan Koroglu, to discuss ways of enhancing joint cooperation in the fields of energy and electricity.

During the meeting, the two sides deliberated on the possibility of supporting projects aimed at rehabilitating energy infrastructure, developing collaboration in the oil and gas sectors, and benefiting from Turkish expertise in these areas.
