Damascus, SANA-The Ministry of Interior announced Wednesday that the Damascus Security Directorate had arrested Maher Ziad Hadid, who was a military commander and security official under the ousted regime, in al-Tadamon neighborhood of Damascus.
The Ministry stated that Hadid is implicated in crimes of murder, detention, and enforced disappearance against civilians in the neighborhood. He will be referred to the competent judiciary to complete the necessary legal procedures.
