Damascus-SANA-Damascus Governor Maher Mohammad Marwan on Saturday inaugurated “We Are Back, Sham” campaign, which aims to add a touch of beauty to the capital Damascus and enhance its public services.
Damascus Governorate stated in a post on its Telegram channel that’’ the campaign included more than 30 volunteer teams, associations and institutions, and a series of service and beautification activities that aim to improve the civilized landscape of Damascus and enhance the community spirit among its residents’’.
In a speech during the opening of the campaign, the Governor of Damascus stressed the importance of concerted efforts between official institutions and the local community to achieve the campaign’s goals, praising the effective role of the volunteer teams and participating associations in embodying the values of teamwork to serve the ancient city’’.
