Quneitra, Oct. 28 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces detained a civilian on Wednesday after entering a village in southern Quneitra province and searching his home.

SANA’s Reporter in Quneitra said that a force consisting of three Israeli military vehicles entered the western part of Saida al-Golan village, where soldiers raided a house and detained a resident before withdrawing toward Abu Mazara Farm.

The incident is the latest in a series of Israeli incursions into southern Syria, which have included raids on civilian homes, detentions, land bulldozing and shelling.

Israel continues to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through repeated military operations in southern Syrian territory.

Syria has repeatedly called for the complete withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from its territory, stressing that all measures taken by Israel are null and void and have no legal effect under international law.

Damascus has also urged the international community to fulfill its responsibilities and press Israel to withdraw fully from southern Syria.
