Daraa, Oct. 14 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces incurred on Wednesday into the Wadi al-Ruqqad area in the western countryside of Daraa Governorate, raiding a local residence before withdrawing from the region.
SANA reporter stated that a force comprising five military vehicles entered the Wadi al-Ruqqad area via the Tal Abu al-Ghaythar gate adjacent to the occupied Syrian Golan. The force raided a local home, detained several young men inside for nearly an hour, seized a nearby motorcycle, and fired live ammunition toward vacant land before pulling back.
On Monday, Israeli occupation forces consisting of four military vehicles incurred into the historic village of Bir Ajam in the southern Quneitra countryside, searching multiple homes and arresting a young man who was led into the occupied Syrian Golan, accompanied by drone flights overhead.
The Israeli occupation continues to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through repeated incursions into southern Syria, raiding civilian homes, carrying out arrests, bulldozing land, and launching artillery strikes.
Syria consistently demands the complete withdrawal of the Israeli occupation from its territory, affirming that all measures taken by the occupation are null, void, and carry no legal effect under international law, while calling on the international community to compel Israel to execute a full withdrawal from southern Syria.
