Quneitra, Sept. 29 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces detained a young man near al-Hurriya village on Tuesday as separate forces advanced into the outskirts of two villages in Quneitra countryside, a SANA reporter said.
One force entered the outskirts of Zubaida in southern Quneitra countryside as students were heading to school, frightening them, the reporter said.
Another Israeli force detained the young man while he was working on a farm near al-Hurriya in northern Quneitra countryside.
On Monday, Israeli forces fired several artillery shells at Tal al-Hamriya near Tranja village in northern Quneitra countryside.
Israeli forces continue to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through repeated incursions into southern Syria, raids on civilian homes, detentions, land clearing and artillery attacks.
Syria has repeatedly demanded that Israeli forces withdraw from its territory. It says measures taken by the occupation have no legal effect under international law and has called on the international community to press Israel to withdraw fully from southern Syria.
