Damascus, Sep. 23 (SANA) Defense Minister Maj. Gen. Murhaf Abu Qasra met on Wednesday with Col. Cedric Berthom, director of military exports for the Middle East at the French Directorate General of Armament, and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of a number of Syrian officers.
The meeting addressed prospects for cooperation in defense fields and ways to strengthen and develop them.
Earlier on Tuesday, Minister Abu Qasra met with Lt. Gen. Edward Ahlgren, the British Ministry of Defense’s senior adviser for the Middle East and North Africa to discuss the latest local and regional developments and prospects for expanding defense cooperation and coordination between the two sides.
