“We are committed to continue our support for Syria. This year, we have allocated an additional $76 million for early recovery efforts, stabilization and the return of refugees,” Rasmussen added.

Al-Shaibani, for his part, said a new chapter is being written in Syrian-Danish relations. This step encourages other European countries to invest in Syria and follow the same path,” al-Shaibani said.

“Since Syria’s liberation, Syrian-European relations have been advancing at an accelerated pace. We look forward to European countries standing alongside the Syrian people in this time of peace and state-building, just as they stood by them during the years of war,” al-Shaibani added.
