Quneitra, May 18 (SANA)    Israeli occupation forces carried out two separate incursions into Quneitra Governorate on Monday, with a second advance reported in the northern countryside in the evening hours.

SANA’s correspondent in Quneitra reported that a force of two military vehicles entered the northern countryside via the direction of the village of al-Hurriya, on the road connecting the village of Ufaniya and the town of Khan Arnabeh. The force switched off its lights, concealed the vehicles under roadside trees, and set up a temporary checkpoint in the area.

Earlier in the day, a separate Israeli occupation force had entered the village of al-Asha in the southern Quneitra countryside, where it raided and searched a number of civilian homes before withdrawing toward the occupied interior.

Syria has repeatedly demanded the full withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from its southern territory, stressing that all Israeli measures in the area are null and void under international law and carry no legal standing. Damascus has called on the international community to fulfill its responsibilities, deter the occupation’s conduct, and compel a complete Israeli withdrawal from southern Syria.

Israel has continued its violations of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through repeated incursions into southern Syria, raids on civilian homes, arrests, and land seizures.
