Damascus, Dec. 7 (SANA) President of the Syrian Arab Republic Ahmad al-Sharaa met on Sunday in Damascus with the province’s dignitaries and notables, in the presence of Governor Maher Marwan Idlibi.
President al-Sharaa affirmed that the mission did not end with the liberation of Damascus, but that the shared responsibility rests on everyone to continue the path of reconstruction and development. He stressed the elevated status and strategic importance the capital has reached after liberation, along with its achievements in restoring balance and strengthening regional and international relations.
The President pointed out that the current stage represents a historic opportunity that must be seized to ensure the transfer of the national legacy to future generations, built upon stability, development, and prosperity.
