Jeddah, Aug. 23 (SANA) The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned on Sunday a terrorist attack targeting a bus carrying Internal Security Forces personnel in Damascus Countryside.
In a statement posted on X, OIC Secretary-General Hissein Brahim Taha reaffirmed the organization’s rejection of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and expressed full solidarity with the Syrian Arab Republic.
Taha called for stronger counter-terrorism efforts to consolidate security and stability in Syria and across the region.
Several Internal Security Forces personnel were injured earlier Sunday when an explosive device detonated on their bus on the Maarounah–al-Tall road in Damascus countryside.
