UAE, Iraq, Yemen express solidarity with Syria after deadly traffic accident

UAE, Iraq, Yemen express solidarity with Syria after deadly traffic accident

Capitals, July 26 (SANA) The United Arab Emirates expressed solidarity with Syria on Sunday following a deadly traffic accident on the Deir Ezzor-Damascus highway that killed 35 people and injured 30 others.

In a statement posted on X, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the country stands with Syria during this difficult time and extended its condolences to the families of the victims, while wishing those injured a speedy recovery.

Iraq Extends Condolences to Syria over Victims of Deir Ezzor–Damascus Road Accident

Iraq’s Foreign Ministry on Sunday expressed its condolences to the Syrian government and people following a deadly traffic accident on the Deir Ezzor–Damascus highway.

In a statement, the ministry reaffirmed Iraq’s solidarity with Syria, extended its sympathies to the victims’ families and wished those injured a speedy recovery.

Yemen Extends Condolences to Syria over Deadly Traffic Accident


The Embassy of the Republic of Yemen in Damascus on Sunday expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the Syrian government and people over the victims of the traffic accident that occurred on the Deir Ezzor-Damascus road, leaving dozens dead and injured.

In a statement, the embassy affirmed Yemen’s solidarity with Syria, government and people, in the wake of the tragedy. It also extended its condolences to the families of the victims and wished those injured a speedy recovery.

Earlier on Saturday, 35 people, including civilians and members of the Internal Security Forces, were killed and 30 others injured when two passenger buses collided on the Deir Ezzor-Damascus highway.
