Quneitra, July 22 (SANA) Israeli forces entered the area surrounding al-Mantara Dam in the northern countryside of Quneitra on Wednesday.

The force consisting of three military vehicles advanced into the area, remained there briefly, and later withdrew, according to SANA correspondent.

Earlier on Monday, an Israeli force comprising seven military vehicles entered the southern Quneitra countryside through the Tal Abu al-Ghaithar gate and set up a temporary checkpoint west of the village of Sida al-Golan, where troops stopped and searched civilians before withdrawing.

Israel has continued to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through repeated incursions into southern Syria, as well as raids, arrests, land bulldozing and artillery shelling, according to Syrian authorities.

Syria has repeatedly called for the withdrawal of Israeli forces from its territory, stating that all Israeli measures are null and void under international law, and has urged the international community to ensure Israel’s full withdrawal from southern Syria.
