Quneitra, June.26 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces carried out an incursion into agricultural land west of the town of al-Rafid in the southern countryside of Quneitra on Thursday.

A force consisting of two military vehicles entered the area and temporarily detained several farmers and shepherds while they were working nearby. The individuals were interrogated before being released, after which the force withdrew without making any arrests.

The incursion came one day after Israeli forces established an iron barrier reinforced with concrete blocks on a road previously opened near the separation fence west of al-Rafid.

Israel continues to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through repeated incursions into southern Syria and military actions affecting civilians, including raids, temporary detentions, land bulldozing and shelling.

Syria reiterates that all measures taken by the Israeli occupation authorities in Syrian territory are null and void and produce no legal effect under international law. It has repeatedly called on  the international community to assume its responsibilities, put an end to these violations and ensure Israel’s full withdrawal from southern Syria.
