Homs, June 24 (SANA) Governor of Homs, Murhaf al-Naasan, held talks on Wednesday with a delegation from the Embassy of Japan in Syria and representatives of the UN Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) on ways to strengthen cooperation in recovery, infrastructure rehabilitation, and service projects across the province.
The meeting addressed the current urban and service situations in Homs, highlighting urgent needs in infrastructure and essential services, as well as the importance of advancing urban planning in light of the destruction caused by years of war.

Discussions also covered Japanese-supported projects in Syria, including the rehabilitation of Al-Rastan Bridge, support for Homs Grand Hospital, and initiatives aimed at improving living and service conditions in affected areas.
