Provinces, June 7 (SANA) Three people were killed and nine others injured in traffic accidents and fire-related incidents to which Syrian Civil Defence teams responded across the country during the past 24 hours.
According to a statement posted by the Civil Defence on its Telegram channel on Sunday, nine traffic accidents resulted in three deaths and seven injuries. Emergency teams provided first aid to the injured and transferred them to hospitals for further treatment, while also securing and clearing the accident sites.



The Civil Defence also responded to 181 fires nationwide, including 38 in agricultural fields and crops, and 90 in homes, shops, grasslands, trees and electrical wires. The incidents resulted in two injuries, including one firefighter.
The Civil Defence urged the public not to light fires in forested areas or agricultural fields and to avoid discarding cigarette butts or glass containers along roadsides, particularly near farmland and woodland. It also advised against burning dry vegetation around homes or along roads and recommended removing it safely.
On Friday, one person was killed and 24 others injured in separate traffic accidents and fires to which Civil Defence teams responded across various Syrian provinces.
