Damascus, June 6 (SANA) President Ahmad al-Sharaa met on Saturday at the People’s Palace in Damascus with a delegation representing the Damascus and its Countryside Chamber of Industry and the Damascus and its Countryside Chambers of Commerce.
The meeting focused on ways to boost cooperation and partnership between the public and private sectors and support Syria’s economic recovery efforts.
Participants also discussed challenges facing local industry and trade and reviewed measures to address them in a way that supports national economic development, enhances investment opportunities, and promotes sustainable growth.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Economy and Industry Nidal al-Shaar, Damascus Governor Maher Marwan Edlbi, and Damascus Countryside Governor Amer al-Sheikh.
