Damascus, August 25 (SANA) Minister of Information Khaled Zaarour discussed Tuesday with a British delegation headed by Barrie Peach, the acting special envoy of the United Kingdom for Syria, media-related issues and prospects for cooperation between the two countries.
During a meeting at the Ministry of Information, the two sides discussed the Media Law, with Zaarour affirming Syria’s interest in benefiting from international experiences in the field.
Peach outlined the United Kingdom’s vision for cooperation in training and capacity building. The discussions also covered coordination on combating hate speech and developing digital media.
