Damascus, May.25 (SANA) Spokesperson of the Syrian Higher Committee for People’s Assembly Elections, Nawar Najmeh said on Monday that no appeals regarding the electoral process has been submitted by the end of official working hours on Monday, May 25, 2026 in the areas of Hasakah and Qamishli north eastern province, and in Ain al-Arab of Aleppo province.
“Accordingly, the preliminary results announced yesterday are considered final,” Najmeh told SANA in a statement.
The committee announced on Sunday the names of the winners of membership in the Assembly for Ain al-Arab region in Aleppo Governorate, Hasakah and Qamishli cities, following the voting process that took place in the morning to elect members of the People’s Assembly.
