Deir Ezzor, May 25 (SANA) Syrian Defense Minister Major General Murhaf Abu Qasra met with community leaders and residents in Deir Ezzor on Monday during a visit accompanied by senior military officers, the Defense Ministry said.
In a statement posted on Telegram, the ministry said Abu Qasra stressed the importance of cooperation and coordinated efforts to improve security and stability in the province.
The meeting was part of ongoing outreach efforts between the ministry and local communities.
Earlier this month, Abu Qasra held a similar meeting in Aleppo focused on direct engagement with community representatives and discussions related to security and defense issues.
