Damascus, Syria, May 25 (SANA) A charity bazaar ‘Bazaar by Syrian Hands’ featuring handmade crafts and homemade food products by Syrian women continued Monday at al-Sharq Hotel in Damascus, aiming to support home-based businesses and strengthen their role in the local community.
The bazaar featured oriental cuisine, handmade resin crafts, wool products and healthy sugar-free meals and desserts sweetened with honey or stevia.
Participants said the event aimed to support women working in home-based businesses while offering affordable products for families during the holiday season.
They added that the charity atmosphere of the bazaar helped promote the spirit of Eid and bring joy to visitors and participants.
The event highlights the role of community initiatives in supporting women entrepreneurs and creating new opportunities for locally made products and small businesses.
