Quneitra, May 10 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces on Sunday carried out an incursion into the village of Ruwayhina in the northern countryside of Quneitra.
SANA’s correspondent in Quneitra reported that a force consisting of seven military vehicles set up a temporary checkpoint, conducted searches of passing civilians, and deployed troops around the area. No arrests were reported during the operation.
The Israeli occupation continues its violations and breaches of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through repeated incursions into southern Syria, targeting civilians through raids, detentions, land bulldozing, and artillery and mortar fire, among other practices.
Syria has consistently called for the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from its territory, affirming that all measures taken in southern Syria are null and void and carry no legal effect under international law. It has also urged the international community to assume its responsibilities, deter such practices, and ensure a full withdrawal from the south.
