Daraa, April 28 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces carried out an incursion on Tuesday into the village of Ma’ariya in the Yarmouk Basin in the western Daraa countryside.
SANA’s reporter in Daraa province said an Israeli force of about 20 vehicles entered the village, roaming its streets amid drone flights, before withdrawing from the area.
Israel continues to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through repeated incursions into southern Syria, as well as raids, arrests and land bulldozing.
Syria has repeatedly called for Israeli withdrawal from its territory, stressing that all Israeli measures in southern Syria are invalid and have no legal effect under international law. It also urged the international community to assume its responsibilities, halt these actions and ensure a full withdrawal.
