Ancona, Apr. 23 (SANA) The “ISOM” Institute in the Italian city of Ancona held a seminar Thursday on the sidelines of the visit of a delegation from the Syrian Ministry of Agriculture, headed by Minister Amjad Badr, during which participants reviewed prospects for expanding international cooperation with the Arab Center for the Studies of Arid Zones and Dry Lands (ACSAD).
Discussions focused on strengthening joint activities between the institute and ACSAD, particularly in areas related to sustainable agricultural development and the management of drylands, in line with Syria’s priorities to bolster food security and enhance resilience in the face of climatic challenges.
Participants also reviewed ongoing operational programs implemented in cooperation with Syria, Tunisia, Lebanon, Kuwait and other countries.
