Deir Ezzor, Apr. 13 (SANA) Internal security forces dismantled a criminal group involved in a series of armed robbery cases targeting civilians in the Abu Hamam town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor province, the Ministry of Interior said on Monday.
According to the ministry, the operation followed multiple reports from residents regarding repeated armed robbery cases near the Abu Hamam town, prompting immediate action by the competent authorities. Security units launched investigations and intelligence-gathering operations, leading to the identification and arrest of all members of the group.
The Ministry of Interior reaffirmed its continued efforts to maintain security and pursue criminals, stressing that it will not tolerate criminal activities.
