Damascus, April 13 (SANA) Greek Orthodox Patriarch John X led an Easter Monday service at the Mariamite Cathedral in Damascus on Monday.

During the service, attended by senior clergy, including a patriarchal vicar and metropolitans, along with priests and deacons, Patriarch John X prayed for health and well-being for all, and for peace and stability to prevail across the country.

Christian communities in Syria following the Eastern calendar marked Easter on Sunday with prayers and services held in Damascus and other provinces.
