Damascus, April 6 (SANA) Four people were killed and 11 others injured in road accidents and fires responded to by civil defense teams from the Ministry of Emergency and Disaster Management over the past 24 hours across several Syrian provinces.
The civil defense said on Monday via its Telegram channel that eight road accidents occurred on Sunday, resulting in three deaths and 11 injuries. The injured received first aid and were transferred to hospitals, while the bodies were taken to forensic authorities.
It added that teams also responded to 22 fires, including 13 in homes and commercial shops and nine other incidents, which led to the death of a young man. Damage from the remaining fires was limited to material losses.
Such incidents occur frequently across the country, causing human and material losses. On March 31, four people were killed and 25 others injured in similar incidents involving five road accidents and 17 fires across several provinces.
