Quneitra, March 27 (SANA)      Israeli occupation forces fired two artillery shells on Friday from the Syrian occupied Golan toward the vicinity of Tal al-Ahmar al-Sharqi in the southern countryside of Quneitra.

SANA reporter said that the attack coincided with the presence of shepherds in the area, with no injuries reported.

Earlier in the day, Israeli occupation forces detained for several hours a young man and a child while they were herding livestock near Tel al-Ahmar al-Gharbi in southern Quneitra, and opened fire at shepherds without causing injuries.

Israeli forces also carried out a pre-dawn incursion into Jbata al-Khashab in northern Quneitra countryside, raiding and searching a house before withdrawing.

Israel continues its violations of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through incursions into southern Syria, as well as raids, arrests and land bulldozing.

Syria has repeatedly called for Israel’s withdrawal from its territory, stressing that all measures taken in southern Syria are null and void under international law, and urging the international community to act and ensure the occupation’s full withdrawal.
