Quneitra, March 23 (SANA) – Israeli occupation forces detained a young man on Monday near al-Mantara dam in Quneitra countryside after briefly holding five individuals, releasing four and taking one to a military position without clarification.

Local reports said Israeli forces also carried out incursions into nearby areas, including al-Samdaniyah al-Sharqiyah, where several homes were searched. A separate unit of around 30 soldiers advanced earlier toward the Ruwayhina dam area.

In a related development, Israeli forces conducted a limited incursion in the Yarmouk Basin in Daraa countryside using several military vehicles before withdrawing shortly afterward.

The incidents come as Israeli occupation continues repeated incursions and violations in southern Syria, in breach of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement, amid ongoing Syrian calls for the withdrawal of Israeli forces from its territory.
