Quneitra, March 2 (SANA) Israeli forces detained a young man on Monday while he was herding sheep west of the village of Kodna in the southern countryside of Quneitra province.
SANA’s reporter in Quneitra said the man was taken into occupied territory. There was no immediate information on his condition or whereabouts.
Israel has repeatedly violated the 1974 disengagement agreement through incursions into southern Syria as well as raids, arrests and land bulldozing.
Syria has called for the withdrawal of Israeli forces from its occupied territory, saying measures taken in the south are null and void under international law and urging the international community to intervene.
