Damascus, Mar. 1 (SANA) – President Ahmad al-Sharaa reaffirmed Syria’s solidarity with Kuwait and its rejection of any violations of Arab states’ sovereignty during a phone call Sunday with Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
During the call, the two leaders discussed regional developments following Iranian attacks that targeted several countries in the region.
President al-Sharaa stressed the Syrian Arab Republic’s firm position rejecting any infringement on the sovereignty of Arab states or attempts to undermine their security and stability, underscoring the importance of strengthening Arab coordination at this stage and prioritizing dialogue and diplomacy as the strategic path toward political solutions and de-escalation.
For his part, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah expressed appreciation for Syria’s stance, praising the historic brotherly relations between the two countries and reaffirming the importance of joint Arab solidarity in safeguarding regional security and stability.
