Damascus, Feb. 20 (SANA) Minister of Interior Anas Khattab chaired an expanded meeting on Friday that brought together his deputy, assistants, directors of central departments, and internal security commanders from across the provinces.
The meeting included a comprehensive review of the security sector’s performance and a discussion of priorities for the coming phase, with the aim of enhancing institutional effectiveness and ensuring the regularity of security operations nationwide.
The Minister stressed that institutional success begins with high quality performance based on role integration, accurate decision making, and efficient resource management.
He stressed that the rule of law, discipline, and the protection of rights form the foundation of state strength, public trust, and societal stability.
