Damascus, Feb. 16 (SANA) The Syrian Foreign Ministry held a meeting Monday with local and international aid agencies and diplomatic missions to assess the humanitarian situation in Syria and enhance response efforts in key areas.

According to a statement posted on the ministry’s Telegram channel, the meeting included the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC), the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), representatives of diplomatic missions, and international donor agencies.
The meeting aimed to exchange views on the current humanitarian situation in Syria and explore ways to align international support priorities with local needs while ensuring sustainability.
Participants are discussing challenges facing humanitarian service providers in Syria and ways to improve the effectiveness and sustainability of the response, as well as the role of global partnerships in strengthening national capacities.
