Ankara, Feb. 14 (SANA) Türkiye’s Nationalist Movement Party leader Devlet Bahçeli said Saturday that developments in Syria mark a “decisive turning point” for regional security, stressing the need to preserve Syria’s unity and eliminate terrorism.
According to Anadolu Agency, Bahçeli said during an academic event in Ankara on Saturday that Syria has reached “a stage of comprehensive cleansing from terrorism” and is rebuilding itself as a unified state. He described the end of terrorist dominance as a “second liberation” benefiting all Syrians.
Bahçeli added that a unified Syria free of terrorism is now a “strategic necessity” for regional security. He expressed hope that wisdom and peace would prevail, ending chaos and reinforcing stability.
