Washington, Feb. 14 (SANA) – U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said Saturday its forces carried out 10 airstrikes targeting more than 30 sites belonging to the ISIS terrorist organization in Syria between February 3 and 12.
In a statement published on the X platform, CENTCOM said U.S. forces struck ISIS infrastructure and weapons storage facilities using precision-guided munitions delivered by fixed-wing aircraft, rotary-wing aircraft, and unmanned aerial vehicles, as part of efforts to maintain sustained military pressure on the terrorist group.
Last December, the Pentagon announced the launch of Operation “Eye of the Falcon,” which included strikes on dozens of ISIS targets in Syria with the participation of several allies, including Jordan, in response to an ISIS attack on joint Syrian–U.S. forces near Palmyra.
