Saudi Cabinet: Syrian Government–SDF ceasefire supports stability and security
Saudi Arabia's Council of Ministers

Riyadh, Feb. 3 (SANA) — Saudi Arabia’s Cabinet on Tuesday said the ceasefire agreement between the Syrian government and the SDF represents important support for the path toward stability and security in Syria.

Saudi Press Agency (SPA) quoted Minister of Media Salman bin Yousuf al Dossary as saying in a statement following the Cabinet session that the Kingdom hopes the agreement will contribute to advancing Syria’s march toward peace, security and stability, fulfilling the aspirations of its people and strengthening national unity.

Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Ministry had welcomed the ceasefire last Friday, describing it as part of a broader agreement aimed at unifying Syrian territory, enforcing the rule of law and achieving full integration through enhanced cooperation among the concerned parties and coordinated efforts to rebuild the country.
