Damascus, Jan.21 (SANA) The Syrian Arab Army announced that SDF organization breached the ceasefire agreement reached with the Syrian State and carried out several attacks, most notably targeting a military site containing explosive materials and suicide drones (a former SDF site) inside the al‑Yarubiyah crossing, which led to the martyrdom of a number of Syrian soldiers and the injury of many others.
“We consider those actions a serious escalation and a clear breach of the ceasefire, reflecting the SDF’s desire to continue targeting Syrians and their army and to disregard all previous agreements.” The operations’ command of the Syrian army told SANA Wednesday.
Presidency of the Syrian Arab Republic said yesterday that a mutual understanding had been reached between the Syrian government and SDF regarding several issues related to the future of al‑Hasakah province, while the Ministry of Defense announced a ceasefire in all sectors of the Syrian Arab Army operations for four days in compliance with the understanding.
