Al-Hasakah, Jan. 20 (SANA) The Syrian Interior Ministry announced Tuesday that, in cooperation with the Syrian Arab Army, security forces have entered al-Hol camp in al-Hasakah province to maintain stability following the withdrawal of SDF units and the temporary lack of guard presence.
The ministry said in a statement that the operation is part of a carefully planned strategy to enhance security and public order in the region.
Earlier, the SDF abandoned the camp, releasing those detained inside, according to the Syrian Arab Army’s Operations Command. “The camp was left without security, allowing detainees to leave freely,” the Army said.
The ministry stressed that Syrian internal security forces are working in coordination with the Syrian Arab Army to restore law and order and prevent potential disturbances in the camp.
