Hama, Jan. 11 (SANA) Internal Security forces in the al-Ghab area, in coordination with the Anti-Terror Branch in Hama, arrested Nidal Ali Suleiman, identified as a former member of the Fourth Division during the period of the deposed regime, the Interior Ministry said on Sunday.
According to the ministry’s statement published on its official Telegram channel, preliminary investigations indicate the suspect took part in fighting in Hama countryside and was involved in smuggling weapons to SDF organization, as well as in drug trafficking.
The ministry added that the detainee was referred to the competent judiciary to complete the required legal procedures in line with Syrian laws and regulations.
