Syrian revolution military exhibition tells stories of those who offered sacrifices

Damascus, Dec.13 (SANA) Amid photographs of martyrs and memories of battles, the Syrian Revolution Military Exhibition, which concluded yesterday at Fairgrounds in Damascus countryside, was not merely a space for displaying military equipment and vehicles; rather, it became a living testament to stories of pain, patience and victory.

Visitors of all ages stood before the exhibits, recalling the faces of those who departed and the sacrifices of those who stood firm, in a scene that revived memories of the years of the Syrian revolution against the former regime, with all their suffering and hope, and reinforced the meaning of victory made by the blood of martyrs and the perseverance of Syrians.

In statements to a SANA reporter, visitors unanimously emphasized the importance of the exhibition as a unifying national space for documenting the epics written by fighters and commemorating the sacrifices of martyrs and the wounded, calling for similar exhibitions to be organized across various governorates to help solidify national memory and pass it on to future generations.

The Syrian Revolution Military Exhibition, organized by the Ministry of Defense, was inaugurated on December 5 at the Fairgrounds in Damascus countryside, as part of the program marking the first anniversary of liberation and within the framework of efforts to preserve national memory and document the events that have shaped the current phase of Syria’s history.
